The Headquarters Hotel for the FotoFest 2016 Biennial is the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Houston Downtown. Located at 400 Dallas Street, Houston, TX, 77002.
The International Meeting Place Portfolio Review for Artists, Evenings with the Artists – Open Portfolio Nights, Fine Print Auction, Seminars, Bookstores, Book Signings, and the Artist - Curator Talks take place here.
For International Meeting Place and Biennial visitors, FotoFest has a special room rate of $169.00 + tax at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Houston Downtown. A limited number of rooms are available at this rate.
The FotoFest reservation code is FF1. You can go directly to the DoubleTree FotoFest online reservations page, or you may call 1-800-222-TREE and give the reservation code.

Houston is one of the major hubs for United Airlines and Southwest Airlines.
United Airlines is giving a discount to 2016 Biennial visitors. To make a reservation, open the United Meetings Reservation Page. Enter the following code ZVM4379215. You may book your flight now
You may also make a reservation by phone, there is an extra $25 fee for phone reservations. If you are in the U.S. or Canada please call United Reservations at 866-316-4153. Provide the Z Code ZVM4 and the Agreement Code 379215.

The city's two airports are George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) and Hobby Airport (HOU). Shuttle service, taxis, Uber and car rentals are available at both airports.
Houston is a large city and it can be challenging to get around without a car. The FotoFest Headquarters Hotel in downtown Houston is, however, centrally located near the Houston MetroRail system and bus stops.

The city’s principal theaters, opera, ballet, and symphony are also located in downtown. Restaurants, retail shops, Discovery Green Park and Buffalo Bayou Park are within walking distance of the DoubleTree Hotel.
Houston has also a public bicycle share program, Houston B-Cycle, with station across Downtown, Midtown, Montrose and the Museum District. A B-Cycle stand is conveniently located just blocks from the DoubleTree.
